Tom Ellsworth has served with the Sherwood Oaks Christian Church in Bloomington, Indiana, since January 1981. The congregation has grown from 80 to over 2,800 and transitioned through a building fire, relocation and four building programs.
Tom served as the North American Christian Convention president for the 2001 Tampa convention and enjoys speaking for various conferences and leadership events. Tom holds degrees from St. Louis Christian College and Cincinnati Christian University. He is co-author of the book Preaching
James, and author of Beyond Your Backyard; It’s Your Move – On Board; It’s Your Move – Out Loud and Inverted.
Tom and his wife, Elsie have two married daughters and five grandchildren.
